Is there any discount for cash?
Short answer - no.
Reason why - in accordance with FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) and their ""treating customers fairly' policy, we cannot discriminate between a customer who is paying cash and a customer who is using our finance facilities. Everything is done by the book and whilst we may have back street garage prices, we certainly do not operate their policies. We may receive a commission for introducing you to the finance company
Do you offer finance?
Yes, we can offer finance in many different forms depending on the age of the car. Please see each individual car and the respective videos on the website or ask a member of staff for any further questions.
How long does finance take?
The finance can be set up and completed within an hour and able to drive away. In some instances, the finance may take longer.
Can you deliver?
We can deliver the car to anywhere in the UK with the cost dependent on location. We prefer for you to see the car and test drive the car to appreciate the standards we set before committing to buying the car.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Our most preferable method of payment is bank transfer. We can accept card payments of up to £250 for holding deposits over the phone. We take cheques and bankers drafts but will not release goods until the funds have cleared. Cash can be accepted for car's but strictly in line with HM and Customs policies (link to website here)
Is my deposit refundable?
Deposits are not refundable so please only leave a deposit if you are committed to buying the car. Once a deposit has been taken, the vehicle is removed from sale on our website and all other platforms. Cars will not be held or removed from sale unless a deposit has been taken.
How long is my warranty?
Our warranty terms on used vehicles are 3months or 3000 miles, whichever comes soonest, unless this period is superseded by the manufacturers standard warranty. There are options to upgrade the warranty. Please speak to a member of staff to discuss further.
What happens if my car breaks down?
That's where we excel ahead of others! Firstly, we have our own workshop where we can prioritise work and not depend on others to help. We have courtesy cars and vans available to keep you mobile where possible.
We can never guarantee that a car will not break down. We can guarantee we will check them over and prepare them correctly for sale by going way over and above the legal requirements. We will never shirk away from our legal responsibilities as a motor dealer and will always do more than the bare minimum without all the fuss. We are human too, we've been in your shoes at some point with our own cars and will show empathy to try and resolve the situation as best we can.
I have finance on my current car, can I trade it in against one of yours.?
Yes, of course, we can clear your finance and set up a new agreement on the new car. Just ask us for a quote
I have a private plate on my car, can you transfer that for me?
No problem. We can guide you through the process which is fairly simple. Each customer pays for their own transfer however we don't charge for processing any applications,
Do you do body repairs?
Yes we have an insurance approved bodyshop on site. We can do most repairs however we do not facilitate heavy damage or structural work. We can carry out quotes and repair work and liaise with your insurance company on your behalf.
Do you offer free driveaway insurance?
We do not offer driveaway insurance, however there are a number of companies who offer this online.
What do I need and how long can you hold a car for?
To remove a car from sale we take a non refundable deposit of £250. We always advise to be 100% sure before leaving a deposit. We state in all our online listings that a car remains for sale until a deposit is taken. It depends on the vehicle in question but normally we can hold a car for up to three weeks with a normal deposit.
Do you take more than one part exchange?
Yes we can take two part exchanges against one car. We can take cars, vans and motorbikes as part exchanges. We can also take a car which is worth more than our car and offer cash back to complete the deal.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes we take credit cards up to the balance of £1000. Our preferred method of payment is bank transfer or finance through one of our providers. It keeps everything digital with an electronic footprint to protect both parties.
How long is the mot on your vehicles?
Our cars will come with a minimum of 3 months MOT. If the car has less than 3 months, we will put the car through MOT for handover thus ensuring you have a car with a full year MOT. We don't mind putting on fresh MOT's because it satisfies you, the customer that we have put the car out in a road worthy condition knowing a government test centre has given the car the seal of approval.
Can you find a vehicle for me?
Certainly, the majority of our business comes from repeat customers. We spend quite a lot of time sourcing cars for our loyal customers. It works for both of us, we source a car and turn over a quick bit of profit while we make sure its worthwhile for the customer by sourcing the car at cheaper than market rate or else at a similar price to what's available online however we offer the peace of mind of warranty and in-house workshop and bodyshop facilities.
